How do I fix DVD Recorder?

My Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-EH55 shows no disc when one is inserted. I suspect the laser reader is dirty. How or where do I clean the laser reader? As the reader is not reading the disc, inserting a disc cleaner by logic would not work. Any suggestion?
