On/Off switch for Sony Ericsson T610?

I have an old T610, the on/off switch is broken. The rest of the phone is fine, any ideas how to mend / replace the switch ? Or even, is there a way to short-circuit it so that it's always on ?

you know, i have the same issue about my phone. i guess all T610s are prone to this problem. well, i can't turn my phone on, so what i did was, i charged it. but still, it won't work! so had this theory that all we should do is remove the case [which requires the * type of screw driver and just pull the switch out. then try opening it. if it opens, good for you. this means that all you have to do is to press the button as gently as possible, the next time you're switching it on/off, to avoid getting it stuck.

well, i hope it helps.
