Glow Worm Swift Flow - Pilot Light Does Not Ignite?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would be really kind to help me. Our boiler s pilot light will not ignite, I do not have any clue as to why. A couple of days ago the pilot light kept going out but when we re-igniting it, it worked fine but cut out like every couple of hours. But not it barely ignites at all. I would be really grateful of any help.

Thanks

Hi Carl,

I really appreciate your help, my step dad replaced the thermo coupler a couple of months ago which solved the problem but then then this problem has cropped up. We found that first of all our gas setting was at the max on the boiler which was most likely putting all of the components under strain. We have now replaced our circuit board as we had a spare from previous repairs and the boiler now seems to be fine. I really appreciate the help you've given..... Thanks

Kind Regards

Mitch

hi
sounds like the thermo coupler is faulty. 99.9% sure this is the probem.
easy fix all ou need is new thermo coupler buy a universal one cost around £15. look in boiler you will see a thin copper wire on both ends there is a nut. undo the nuts pull out and re-fit new one. simple as that. any problems or q mail me on taz2023@talk21.com
