Any repair tips for a Mustek PL407H?

hey,

I have been working on a batch of Mustek Portable DVD players
And have found the most common error is that they wont read
DVD's.

What is the best way to repair the Laser?

Any advise on genral repair would help.

my dvd player has recently started having problems such as the buttons will not work so i can nt watch any film :( does anyone know how to fix it?

You cant repair the laser they are giving out low power. You might although be able to adjust the littlle trimer on the laser assy. Use only small moverments this will some times give a little extra life. But the assy should be repaced really
