Washing machine door handle doesn't feel like it's doing anything, ( there is no resistance when you pull it like there used to be ).
Does anyone know how to open the door without prizing it and doing serious damage? My clothes are trapped inside!!!
It's an Ariston Margherita 2000 A1435 Advantage.

Hi again if the other does not work then you need to take the top off the machine and gently put your hand down to the lock and when you find the lock, try to sence the lockpin and when you find a little hump on the pin press the hump and wolah the door swings out but be sure that there is no water inside as described in first.

hi, this is quite easy, just set the washingprogram to winding and the machine will empty the water and when the keylock time is out the washing machine is ready to open.
