I had a website designed for me and i do not know how to put a link on, now ebay supply a html code but i do not know exactly were to put it.

If your website was designed for you I take it you don't have the necessary development tools to change it....or do you?

You need to upload the page in question to your web host with the new code in the page. Most people do this via FTP.

You may need to get your FTP details to even start work on it.
