How can I fix my Black and Decker cordless weedeater?

How do I fix my Black and Decker cordless weedeater that won't work even after charging?

If the pack was hot when you tried to charge it, let it cool down to room temperature first. Some chargers refuse to charge hot batteries.

If you have a volt meter, see if you can get a reading from the battery's terminals. If the battery is charged, the voltage will be above the advertised voltage. If it is below that, either the pack is damaged/worn out, or it did not charge for some reason.

A new battery will probably cost almost as much as the entire unit. Consider a corded trimmer - lighter, and unlimited run time.
