when excelerating my van surges,not all the time just now and then, no fault shows on diagnostic check, is it possible
that the erg valve on the exhaust system is sticking and relaying incorrect messages to the ecu unit, my van is
a renault master 2.2 dci turbo year 2002 with 115,000 miles
on the clock

egr valve, remove 3 securing bolts in exhaust manifold and diconnect plug you will find on removal the valve workings totally carboned up. We have just done a renault master with exact same symptoms as yours.
