no, i need to remove mine as well, it should mount from the top because the tanks are mounted on the underneath of the carriage right under the toilet, so what idiot designed a toilet to bolt from under. i may put an standard toilet (water closet) in and have the same water stop to control the flow and keep it full when we're parked and just empty the tank by flushing it and (first turn the stop off, then flush) and keep it empty while u ride to avoid sloshing. simple huh? and it will mount from the top, course, i'll know better when i tear the thetford out maybe i will have some ejection problems from the bowl to the rv tank, but i can make something up for than. it's still plywood underneath the carpet. and dont give me no grief cause i've been plumbing for 20 yrs. also, u can buy an water heater from local plumb. dist. and install it and put the door on the outside as it is, who's to know and it works
