the deadlock on my bathroom window seems to be jammed so that it prevents me opening the window, when i put the key in the hole it just rotates, have tried plusgas and allsorts of pushing and trying to move the window to no avail. any one help? please??

See if there is screws fastening the lock to the window, remove and take lock off. Try opening window, if so replace lock.
