I have a 6006e and was listening to a CD and went to change it to another CD in the CD player and Error 3 came up on the screen it will not let me play or take the CD's out please help

I had the same problem on my 6006e radio in a Focus. I just tried holding in the load or eject button on the CD and eventually the CD ejected. After a few months, it did it again, and this time my trick wouldn't work. I took the radio out, took the cover off and found a broken plastic arm. I'm now looking for a replacement unit at a reasonable cost - ebay units seem to go for about £100.
