Peoplounger recliner sofa?

I have sofa recliner with recliners on each end. One recliner will not retract and lock in upright position. stays in recline position. Where may I get a manual showing diagram under recliner and how to repair this problem.

Yeh Bev, I've got a Peoplounger recliner. Both of the springs that hold the footrest in place broke. They have a long hook on one end and a regular spring hook on the other end. Where can I find those. The company is out of business. I looked at Home Depot but didn't see them. Maybe I looked in the wrong place.

Thanks

Your problem is most probably caused by one or more broken springs. I just went through this same situation. You have 4 sets of springs on each lounger.
The short springs help to retract the chair into its upright position. Have a look underneath both recliners and I am sure that you can figure it out. I did! you can purchase the replacement springs at Home Depot. It would be good to measure or take the broken one with you. They are called extension springs. Hope this helps!
