My Tevion 32inch HDTV wont come out of standby mode?

Its still under warranty but i cant find the reciept so i need to get it repaired myself. Any suggestions guys?

i have the same problem accept from with mine i turn mine on clikc off stanby but i get know picture i get sound but no picture

I'd still go back to Aldi with it as Tevion stuff usually has a three year warranty and they will know that it is not three years old.

Should have said that its not the remote as the standby button on the TV has the same affect as the 1 on the remote/
