just finished doing this, first time. the front (not the ends) of the plastic end plates on the console (the panel where the switches are) can be pried loose (carefully). at the bottem are #2 phillips screws. remove these, then lift the console up and over the back. the white plastic hinges at the top of the back panel will slide up and out. if you disconnect the wire plug going into the top of the machine and pop out the two gold colored clips, the entire cabinet will fall off the back panel. don't know how to put it back together yet.
