Only occasionally will the red color restore on this tv. Otherwise, it is a fine picture. I just inherited it from a neighbor, who said it worked fine. Maybe the move loosened a part?

hi,you probabaly have bad connections due to heat stress on the crt socket board.That board is located on the back end of the picture tube.Look very closely with a magnifying glass and some good lighting to see what i mean.Buy a low wattage soldering iron {25 watts} with a fine point tip and get some fine silver solder and carefully repair the bad joints.Be carefull not to solder 2 connectors together.Practice first on some old parts or old radoi or pc board.Good luck,make sure you pull the plug.Jim
