Cyberhome DVD player will not read?

When I insert a DVD & power on, the DVD player starts spinning, but it never reads the DVD. It will sit & spin while Read is displayed across the screen. I have tried several different DVD's to no avail. Any possible solutions?

Have you tried cleaning the optical lens manually with Isopropanol. If you cannot get access to the lens, use a DVD/CD laser lens cleaner (Discwasher Kit available from supermarkets).This is a wet brush system and usually works.
