How do I loosen the air release valve on my radiator? The radiator is air-blocked and I cannot bleed it because the vent is too tight. I'm afraid I'll break it off altogether if I turn it too tightly. It's a modern radiator with the air release valve on the wall-side at the top corner.

Hi Brian, you could try some wd40 or if it is really stuck turn off the radiator at both sides get a new bleeder valve from such as wicks and the key to remove it and replace the whole bleeder nut not expensive
