I have just had a kitchen re-fit and the workmen took the radiator off to plaster. I now have had to turn the whole system off since they put it back on as the hot water is running hot then cold and the water light is flashing, and the heating is on constantly whilstever the system is turned on despite the heating part being on Off. Any ideas how to repair this?

Hi Kris,
Already done this. Have been informed that it sounds like the diverter valve? has gone and that this is at the back of the boiler so would be better to call a pro in. Correct?

you have to pressurise the boiler with water. you need to this insert a white key in hole under the boiler twist 1/4 turn and than turn black knobnext to it untill the pressure reaches 1.5 bar or middle of green
