My dishwasher will do nothing when I put it on a wash and close the door it beeps twice then you can hear it trying to do something you can hear the pump trying to empty I think then it beeps once and I open the door and it is saying E6. I cannot find my book so I do not know what this means or what the model number is.

my dishwasher did something similar i took out the filter in the bottom sump and in the right bottom corner there is a small drain hole i pushed a long cable tie down the hole probably food blockage then tried it worked ok
