many motoring shops sell tools specifically to remove radios
they are cheap (maybe two pounds ) halfords for example sell two pronged pipes(two in a set) which fit into the ford radio (two little holes on the front of the radio each side) by appyling pressure side ways the springs holding the radio will be released. They look like this with round ball bearing like heads.
