i have a rover 220 T....it revs up and trys to drive its self, the eml comes on, and it jumps.............
please can anyone help me

Best to go to dealer for diagnostics: cost about £40? You could spend forever trying to find cause; likely to be a sensor problem, but if easy first check all air inlet pipes are not blocked or disconnected/leaking, and if you know someone to check any fuel filter is not partially blocked (unlikely if over-revving)
