for some reason after flushing the tiolet the tank didn't fill back up. Its been working fine all day. Ive checked the valve to make sure my 2 yr old didn't turn off the water and its fine. so now when i need to flush i have to stand there and fill the cistern with water from the sink. can you help?

lift the float up and down a few times may be stuck.
if not sounds like some dirts got stuck in the valve and blocking the hole.
