I have had a folder about 2MB sent, but on receipt of the e mail it says OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail. Why has it been removed,and what should I do to stop this happening ? I would appreciate easy step by step instructions as very new to computers.

start outlook, click on tools, then options and then click on the security tab, under the virus protection listing it will have a check box ticked next to text saying 'do not allow doccuments.....' you need to uncheck this box. DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU ARE SURE ABOUT THE FILE!, EVEN IF IT IS FROM A FRIEND YOU ARE ADVISED TO VIRUS CHECK IT BEFORE OPENING IT!. I would also advise you to find a program which autochecks your emails for viruses, such as Zone Alarm
