My HP printers both take in too many sheets of paper at a time?

My Hp psc1110 all in one and my HP 5L laser printer both take in too many sheets of paper at a time, is there an easy fix for this

I have used them to get parts to fix a hp5L with the same
problem. You even get a disk that shows you how to dismantle and re-assemble your printer. Although its an American site they get the parts you you in good time and have fixes for most printers

Yes and no... The HP1110 will probably need a new Separator Pad. These cost about £12 but you need to disassemble the printer to fit it. The HP5 again may need a new pad. One easy fix worth trying is fan your sheets before putting into the tray as this reduces residual static. Also make sure you store the paper in a dry area as it may be damp. Last but not least ensure the paper is placed right way up (a diagram of which way is up is usually on the end of the paper packet). Paper has a rough and smooth side, if you put it in the wrong way you may have feed problems.
