I have a Windtunnel Self propelled Vacumn. It is less than a year old. The self propelled does not work. I have a friend that has the same problem. Is this a common problem with this model?

I have the same problem with mine. 6 months after I bought it the problem started. It turned out to be the belt had broken. This has happened at least three times in the short time I have had it. They tell me at the store that it's because it has such a powerful motor. I wish I still had my Concept 11.

I have a self propelled windtunnel that I have had for 6 years, have not had a problem with the self propelled or any other part for that matter. However, if your vacumn is less than a year old it is still under warranty. You should be able to find a vacumn repair shop that handles Hoover warranty work in your area.

However, I recently bought a Hoover Savvy upright that is less than 6 months old and I am now having a problem with its self-propeller.
I hope this is not a future problem with Hoover because I used them for years and have always liked the Hoover models. Good Luck.
