Why won't my servis washing machine break into a full spin?

My washing machine is working ok but when it is time to do a spin the drum turns slowly and seems to try and spin but it just can't manage it.

The 'Motor Control Capacitor' that sits next to the power capacitor or the 'Motor control board' that is at the rear bottom left of the machine has failed by the sounds of things. Alternatively, if yours is the type with brushes... try the brushes in the motor
