The boiler runs fine but after about 3 to 5 mins unfortunately then stops (power and lights still on). It can be re started by turning off the power supply and on to re start, One this is carried out it then goes through th setup routine perfectly and runs again for 3-5 mins then stops. When it stops the red light comes on and green light starts flashing. Any help would be apprecaited to locate the problem (eg PCB, flow meter, air pressure switch etc etc). I think its probably something simple but am not sure.

I found the problem elsewhere - its the circuit board - if you have the same problem then look on ebay ref your boiler and or other blogs . its a common fault.

I have just moved into a new house....2 weeks on...boiler is tripping out...and no hot water...having to pay £300 incl VAT to have a new circuit board fitted....NOT HAPPY!!!! Any way I can get this done cheaper?

you need to replace the pcb board. it is a common problem and potterton have now made new wiring harness kits to eradicate this problem. i can supply and fit this kit if you are within travelling distance of sutton, surrey. 07956 644733
