I want to put a light in my shed with a pull switch to turn it on or off
The power to the light will be from an existing socket using a 5 amp fused plug
I have a 'one way switch whic has an L1 terminal and a com terminal
Do I connect both Browns (1 from socket the other from the light) to the L1 terminal and both blues to the com trerminal. or do I need a 2 way swithch

Please take this as it is meant - kindly. From your question it is obvious to me that you are not an electrician. If you are in the UK what you are trying to DIY is not only dangerous but illegal.
