Firstly, if you are attempting to play copies, it may be that the model of your player cannot read the discs, or, the "burning method" you are using, is incorrect(try a slower speed, ie., 8 times and burn to hard disc first.
If the problem occours with original discs, it is likely that the lens needs cleaned-use a GOOD QUALITY lens cleaning disc, if this fails, a replacement lens may be needed, not an expensive repair, if your machine is of good quality
