When an error occurs, the STANDBY/TIMER LED will flash a set number of times to indicate the possible cause of the problem.
2 times-Load on power line is shorted.
4 times-Vertical deflection pulse is stopped.
5 times-CRT cathode current detection reference pulse output is small.
Can it be fixed? Yes
Is it worth getting repaired? Maybe not
Depending how old the Television is.. 2-3years yes
older than 5years No best to get a new one.
Could cost anywhere from $25 to $200 for just that repair.
