I also own the AWIA NSX-D939 and it is out for repair for different issues. However, the particular problem you are experiencing is common to electronics in such cases where micro-switches are involved. What I can tell is that the push-button you push to open and close the drawer sounds like it may be collasped (internaly). When pushed, does it feel and sound like its working the way it should. Make a comparison by pushing any of the directly above buttons which are the same type. A collapsed micro-switch can cause an always on (pushed) scenario, causing an electrical looping affect.
