i can't format my pendrive?

when i connect pendrive ...the pc gets it....the green notification sign appears...but it neither opens...nor being forrmatted ...while trying to format by right click on the divice the message appears"windows can not format it"

this is due to some logical error .so this can fix by using a linux
os please try to format this drive in linux.
