If you're willing to void the warranty, you can open it up and see if any capacitors are blown or bad. Capacitors are cylindrical in shape, similar to AA, C, or D batteries and if the top is buckling out or it's it's blown open, mark down the model number or at least the size in uF ~ microfarads, the orientation of which it was soldiered in (there is a side with a line or arrows on it), and replace them and see if it works. Please do some research on how to soldier and recognize bad capacitors.
