My optima ferroli boiler leaks from the overflow pipe and the temperature?

My overflow pipe is leaking only a little drip constantly if i put my boiler on the temperature gauge seems to go right up what is causing this problem the make is Optima Ferroli 960L50880J

from the info you've given i'd say either theres no air in the expansion vessell, the expansion vessel has a hole in the diaphragm or theres a blockage in the pipe that goes to the expansion vessel, either way your gonna need a new pressure relief valve cos once they go off they dont generally close properly causing them to leak even after the fault has been remedied!

ignore the other comment! we cant all know everything about heating systems or their names!
