I purchased my grandson an Emerson PDE 2725N portable two screen 7" player. The secondary screen will power up and light up but the primary screen with the DVD unit will not show any signs of power at all. This unit has never been used and I do not have the receipt to return. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have the same problem. This was purchased in Dec 2005 and stopped working in September 2007.
