How to remove Radio/Cassette/CD player from 1999 Sonata?

I have a cassette-like device (IPOD audio adapter) stuck in the cassette player. It seems that the general consensus is to remove the entire unit. So how do I get the Radio/Cassette/CD player out of a 1999 Hyundai Sonata?

remove trim around gear shift, by lifting off black plastic surround, then prise off wood plastic surround, 4 clips hold it, when this is removed it exposes screw under ashtray undo this, then prise off the surrouding trim, best done by taping up end of screw driver, this exposes radio which is held in with 4 screws

you have to take out the heater matrix out or something like that, i had the same problem with my hyundai accent. i found it easier to smash up the interiour with a screw driver untill the radio came loose :-)
