Pressure Problem with Potteron Performa 24?

Hi everyone, The other day I bled my radiators, and later on there was no hot water or heating. This then led to a loud screeching noise from the boiler (which i imediately turned off.)

From what Ive read on here and other sites it sounds like a pressure problem, However I am crap with things like this and haven't been able to solve the problem myself.

There are 3 taps underneath the box, which I have taken a picture of here:

At the moment I have switched the dial on the front panel to the off position.

if anybody could give me a step by step guide to fixing this that would be great. Our landlord is crap at fixing things like this and Im bl**dy freezing.

thanks.

Hi Louis

Filling the system is easy. With the boiler off and cold just open the two valves at the ends of the sliver braided hose. Allow the system to reach a pressure of between 1 and 1 1/2 bar on the pressure guage. Do not go over this as it could open the pressure relief valve once the system is hot

Also under the gas safety installation an use regulations your landlord must provide you with an anual gas safety inspection certificate and ensure thast all gas burning appliences are in a good working order. If not he is failing in his duty as a landlord and is reportable to the HSE. This is the LAW and he must follow it.

Its the silver hose at the bottom of your picture. There are two valves at the ends. Open both of them to charge the boiler. Although you should really be pestering your landlord...
