5.4 cu ft. wards chest freezer?

bought used. did not work.
had adapter for refilling with freeon on it.
motor would run, tried to refill with 6oz freeon.
still does not work.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ????

Possibly blockage in system especially if a filling valve has already been fitted,beyond eco repair.
