Hotpoint DF42 Dishwasher - E 20?

The dishwasher stops, beeps and displays E 20. Sometimes at the beginning of the wash cycle (even when just doing a prewash cycle) although it will occasionally do a full cycle or stop in the middle of a cycle

Did you get your Dishwasher fixed, I have the same problem.
I think it is the heater element, any comments?
