One Wii (obviously)
One Wii stand
One Wii controller with nunchuck
Cables for connecting to TV
Powersupply
Pretty useful books on setup and operation
Wii Sports
The Wii itself has built in:
two slots for GameCube RAM cards
plugs for GC controllers
one slot for SD-RAM (commonly used for cameras - the wii can view camera photos)
USB port (with updates, usable for keyboard, as well as DS wireless)
Wireless Internet accessibility if you have a wireless router for downloading games to the Wii.
Mii development and maintenance software (mostly only useful in Wii Sports)
Wii Sports isn't a spot-on accurate representation of sports, but they are fun in a group.
If you want to play old games on the virtual console the Wii can play:
TurboGrafix
Sega
Nintendo (NES/SNES/N64)
BUT - you'll need the classic controller (not included) for most, if not all.
GC games can be played. You can use the actual GC discs and controllers.
