how reset pressure on a baxi bermuda after bleeding radiaters?

Hi

I have a Baxi Bermuda boiler set behind a fire place, i wish to bleed the radiaters but have been told this will drop the pressure in the boiler. If this is the case how do i reset the pressure in the boiler.

Many Thanks

I have just finshed flushing and replacing some Radiators on my grandparants Baxi Bermuder boiler. When refilling the system tie up the ball cock so feed tank filled slowly and opened all the radiator bleeds. You could do with an extra hand here, shut off bleeds bottom to top when all air expelled.
The system is not pressurised like modern boilers, it is gravity feed and pumped round the system. I turned on the boiler when bleeding the last radiator to get the pump running this will ensure all air out of the sytem.

The pressure can only drop on whats called a sealed system, which is associated with new central heating boilers.

If you have a baxi bermuda it would be very very unlikely that you have a sealed system.

In your case you don't have to do anyhting as the ball valve in the header tank will fill the system.
