The sound on my Emerson television goes off and on?

The sound on my Emerson model #TC1369 television goes off and on sporadically. I would think the sound is about to go out, but it always comes back and sometimes will work for several days and then it's off and on once again. It's an oddity. Any suggestions?

Dry joints on the audio output I would guess. Have it seen to now because it will get worse (and more expensive to repair) later.
