After returning from a weekend break our Bravia (KDL-V32A12U)lost its picture after a couple of hours. The self-diagnostic light
flashes at 2 second intervals. This has happened once before, a few months back, with a 6 second interval. Then, I figured if this was self diagnostic, let it diagnose itself. The picture came back after a few hours - but not this time. Any ideas?

It's self diagnostic - not self repairing. The lights are to tell the engineer where to begin looking for the fault, nothing more.
I suggest having it repaired by a reputable firm before the problem becomes worse and more expensive.
