Once my full cycle has finished the water does not totally drain away and i have to wring out clothes. No blockages in waste pipe or u bend. any ideas? thanks

If you are certain that there are blockages at all in the drainage pipes then it can only point to the machines pump - easily replaced and quite cheap in most spares shops or online, good luck
