Setting the time on BT Freelance XD1500 Answering Machine?

Make and Model: BT Freelance XD1500

Hi,

I do not have a manual for this product and I am woundering if anyone can help me set the time on the Answting Machine. Most settings seem to be done through one of the handsets, however when I set the time and date there it filters down to all other handsets, but not the base/answering machine. this leaves me to belive that, like the answering message, the time for the base is set on the base, but I have no idea how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

"If at any stage you want to alter any segeny of the announced setting ..."

Apologies for the confusing typo, that should have read ...

"If at any stage you want to alter any segment of the announced setting ..."

Press the Message Stop key (which may have the word Stop on it or an oblong black rectangle depending on the version you have), just to the right of the Play key, and hold it down for a couple of seconds and then release it. It will announce the currently set day.

If the Day is correct, press the Stop Key again and release it. It will announce the currently set Day and Hour.

If they are correct, press the Key again and release it. It will announce the currently set Day, Hour and Minute.

If they are all correct, leave it and it will confirm the setting.

If at any stage you want to alter any segeny of the announced setting, use the Message Forward key or Message Backward key, probably located to the right of the unit, just after it has announced the "incorrect" setting. At each depression, they will announce the new setting. When it is correct, press the Stop key again and release it to move to the next part.

You do not use the Plus and Minus volume keys, which at first sight would appear to be the logial ones to use.

Hope that helps.
