That solution worked for me, too. Hold down "volume down" on TV, while holding it down, press '7' on remote for a few seconds.

i have been trying 2 unlock my matsui tvr162s for 3years thanks 2 this web site ive unlocked it thismorning put 3 codes in so it comes up protected then hold vol down on tv while holding it press 7 on remote it really works i still cant belive ive unlocked mine after all these years thanks im so happy
