Hi
If it won't spin I take it that there is water in the drum?
Had a similar problem myself - our problem was that the filter was blocked... Take care when undoing the filter if the machine has water in.....depending on where it is located - depends on how easy it is to empty.
easy way t empty a full machine is to get the waste pipe ( flexible hose) near to the ground as possible - water will then flow from the machine into a basin etc - you can then top up a bucket etc etc to get rid of it.
I found our machine was also clogged up inside so after removing the hoses in the back of the machine and cleaning them out. I put some washing soda in the machine and then put it on a hot wash. This seemed to flush it out ...but as a result i had to go though the process again of cleaning the filter!
It may be worth ago!
If this does not work it may be the Printed circuit board in the machine if so you may have to get an expert to replace this.....unfortunately a lot of machines (and other appliances don't last like they used to (central heating boilers are a fine example) and this is usually down to an electronic Fault
Good luck - Regards
