leaking new single lever mono mixer tap?

I have installed a brand new single lever mono mixer tap. When I turned water back on there is a constant stream (more than a dribble of water running) both hot and cold when tap in off position. How do I adjust this to fully close off supply?

Remove the small coloured (red & blue) bung in the tap handle with a very small screwdriver or blade. You will see a small grubscrew in the hole. Take this out with an allen key and the handle of the tap will pull up vertically & off. (It may be tight to get off.) A large nut will be visible. Tighten this till just tight..don't overtighten. Should solve your problem.

Check out the technical instructions that came with the tap. They will show you how to take apart the tap and make adjustments to seal the flow when in the off position. If you don't have the instructions or they don't contain the info you need download a set of a similar design from a retailer.
