how do I fit a chain light pull to replace current string one?

I've currently got a standard white string pull switch in the bathroom and have been and bought a pull cord which comes on a chain. Where do I attach the end of the chain to?

Do not use it. Get the correct cord. Using the wrong pull cord in a bathroom of all places is not only stupid and illegal but potentially lethal.

Get an electrician before some one gets killed.
