Why does the washer have cold water for the wash cycle but not the rinse?

My Whirlpool washer will only run hot water for the rinse cycle, but it will run cold & hot for the wash cycle. The washer was just moved here and worked fine before.

thats definatley correct.the hoses are the wrong way around

high it sounds as though you water pipes are on the wrong taps try swapping them over
